gardening zone

Most do not want the stress associated with keeping the plants pest free, and the complicated processes there in. Different vegetables grow in different types of light and need a specific amount of space between each plant.

If cool season grasses do not receive sufficient water, they will go dormant and their foliage will turn brown. A covered but sunny spot in your garden will be just perfect for planting. The rows tend to waist valuable compost materials, not to mention that stepping on the soil in between rows kills the soil structure.

Small hanging plants, like spider plants or ferns, are visually attractive and add significance to those uninviting corners. Also shiny objects will sometimes keep deer and other larger animals away. A good quality soil has some soil organisms that work to create acids while others help the soils in many other ways.

Make sure to keep the flowers moist until they are established in the soil. Remember to keep your pruners sharp and clean and away from children.
